SCAA Convention Minneapolis 2008!

Greetings from downtown Minneapolis! We landed at the MSP Airport Thursday night at about 11:20 p.m. after a very bumpy and theatrical flight (lightning anyone?). This was Emily's first flight so GOD gave her a good show!
So far the event has been very full and challenging. Hannah and Emily got to watch 24 baristas compete while I attended a lecture by Karl Schmidt of Probat/Burns. This man is incredibly knowledgeable and detailed! I realize just how much more there is to learn about the science of roasting!
Tomorrow is day two and we'll report back with more.
